My name is Natalie, my friends call me Nat or Boo (Long story about that name, if you want to know ask).
I've been writing for many years now, as far back as grade school. As a child and even now I have a very creative and vivid imagination, and I like to use that in my writing. I have always been able to take a story I'm reading and visualize it in my head, almost as if it were a movie. I love writers that can produce works that come to life in my mind and make me feel the emotions of the characters. That is a trait that I try to put into all of my works as well.
Everything I write is a personal and emotional experience, almost always based on things I have been through or witnessed in my life. My goal as a writer is to create a poem, a story, or a song that will have the person reading it or listening to it see what I see, and feel what I feel when I wrote it.
I will admit most of my works deal with the morbid side of life. Many things I have written deal with death, personal demons, lost loves and pain. I do have a few that are about passionate love affairs, erotic and forbidden desires, and even a few inspirational works.
I don't try to limit myself to one genre or category, I like to experiment with what I write, sometimes it will take me a matter of minutes to many weeks to finish something I started.
To this day I still have alot of unfinished works, I write what the mood strikes me to, and when I hit a roadblock I put aside what I'm working on and will start something else. But I always try and go back to finish them all.
I only have a few of my works posted here on DA at the moment, but in time I plan to have all of my previously published works on here as well. I will continue to add new things as I write them.
